As the name Beyond Medicine suggests, we are not practising mainstream medicine. Neither do we practise a form of alternative therapy such as reflexology, aromatherapy or reiki or other forms of complementary therapies.

Most of the so called complementary therapies are effective at providing you with some sort of temporary relief. We strive to give you with a complete cure in most cases other than cancer. At Beyond Medicine, we strive hard to enable you, as an individual, to reach your maximum potential for health. When it comes to diagnosis, we use both Western and Chinese diagnostic tools to provide the patient with, as far as possible, an accurate diagnosis of his/her state of health. This in itself is a distinguishing feature. From whatever starting point, whether you have a chronic disease that refuse to go away or an acute pain, you will find almost immediate relief from our integrated therapies. We are Doctors of Oriental & Natural Medicine with years of practicing experience with chronic diseases. Up to September 2010, the main practitioners were Dr. frederick Lee and Dr. Wnnie Tiao. (It was a tragic loss when Dr. Winnie Tiao departed for another dimension on the 27th November, 2010.) Both hold doctorate degrees in Oriental Medicine from accredited Universities in California and both are fully registered with The Institute of Complementary Medicine and the Complementary Medical Association. We do full body examination on a routine basis and are able to pinpoint the root cause of a problem. We are firm believers in nutritional and enzyme therapies and we use them to modulate imbalances within the body and also to proactively enhance the immune system. In the fields of Oriental Medicine, acupuncture and Chinese herbs; Dr. Winnie Tiao is a State of California licensed Acupuncturist and is also an active member of the National commission of Acupuncture and oriental medicine. She holds a doctorate degree in Oriental Medicine. Dr. Frederick Lee serves as the overseas representative for Europe on behalf of the Fuda Cancer Hospital in China. He is also visiting professor and external consultant in Nutritional Therapy to the hospital.
